The following is a list of events planned for the Maricopa Mutt March 2006:
- Mutt March
Choose between a short march and a long march. You and your mutt will be part of the pack to raise money for a dog park in Maricopa.
- Pet Expo
You and your mutt will have the opportunity to sniff out local goods and services related to pets.
- Entertainment
Check out demonstrations by the Pinal County K-9 Unit, Sonoran Search and Rescue, and the Maricopa Fire Department.
- Contests
Enter the Dog/Owner Look Alike Contest, the Pet Star Talent Competition, and the Leash Decorating Contest (Kids under 12).
Local celebrity judges will be on hand to decide top dog honors!
- Rescue Row
Gather information about local pet rescue organizations or even adopt a new friend!
- Food
Chow down with your mutt! Food vendors will be donating a portion of all sales proceeds to the Maricopa Mutt March.
